Treatments penetrate and heat the dermis and deep dermal layers to stimulate the production of new collagen, resulting in a smoother, more even skin surface.
Does it hurt?
Laser treatments can be uncomfortable and are often described as a "hot pinch" or "elastic snap" sensation that is felt only during the actual firing of the laser. Measures such as cool air systems and chill tip treatment heads are used to help increase your comfort level. Medicated numbing creams are also available to help decrease sensitivity during your treatment, but must be applied at least an hour in advance and be covered with plastic wrap in order to be effective.
How many treatments will I need?
ReFirme Wrinkle Reduction safely and effectively treats superficial and deep wrinkles in only five treatments every three to four weeks, with no downtime.
Is it permanent?
The changed achieved by treatment are permanent, but you will never stop the aging process, so inevitably over time new wrinkles will form. Results can generally be adequately maintained with a "touch up" treatment every twelve to eighteen months once you have completed your series of five treatments. You will continue to see gradual improvement in the appearance of wrinkles up to six months after treatment, showing the long-term success in addressing wrinkles on the neck and face.
